Methods for engagement

We met as a whole team today to discuss the garage sites discovered yesterday, and our initial ideas to engage the local communities in the process.

We discussed three stages of engagement and design development:
1_ games, play, tea and chat
2_ showing inspirational images of the potential uses of the garages
3_ developing detailed design proposals.

Sunday seemed like a good day to test the first stage, allowing the following two stages to be refined, re-planned in the following weeks.

We fed these ideas back to Sheffield Homes, who suggested we look at sites proposed for demolition, in order to assess the feasibility of alternatives, and potentially give a new lease of life to some unwanted garages.
